Who we are
Lifeabulous is operated by Maison Orivaux LLC. For any question about this notice or your information, email hello@lifeabulous.com.
What we collect, and why
Besides Early Access signups, Lifeabulous collects limited website usage information to understand how the site is used and improve the experience (see Cookies and tracking). When you use the Early Access form, we save:
- your email address;
- the date and time you signed up (UTC);
- the version and wording of the notice shown next to the form;
- which form you used.
We use this only to let you know when Lifeabulous becomes available and to send related Early Access updates, which is what you ask for when you submit the form. The notice shown next to the form reads: “By submitting, you ask Lifeabulous to email you launch updates. We save only your email address, the time you signed up, this notice's version and which form you used.”
We do not ask for your name or anything else. This version of the website only saves your address; it does not send you a confirmation email.
Where it is kept
Signups are stored in a private file on our website hosting account. That file is kept outside the public website and is not part of it.
Preventing abuse
To limit automated or repeated submissions, the form briefly records a coded (one-way hashed) version of the network address a request came from, kept separately from the signup list and not linked to your email address. Records older than ten minutes are removed whenever the form is next used. Your network address itself is not stored in the signup list.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs of visits (for example, network address and browser type).
Cookies and tracking
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use Lifeabulous — for example, pages visited, referring websites, general device and browser information, approximate geographic region, and interactions such as opening a Featured Life or joining Early Access.
To do this, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that let it recognize repeat visits; they expire after 13 months. Lifeabulous itself sets no other cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and the site works the same without them.
We do not send your email address, uploaded photographs, captions, project content or other personal content to Google Analytics.
Lifeabulous does not use analytics for advertising, remarketing or cross-site behavioral profiling.
Links to YouTube, TikTok and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We retain Early Access signup information for up to 24 months from the date of signup, unless the person asks us to delete it sooner.
Your choices
To have your information deleted, email hello@lifeabulous.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete it. We will remove it from the Early Access list. You can also email us to ask what we hold about you.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and its date.
